Pointe of Excellence Dance School encourages dancers to find their own unique passion in dance and learn to set goals in life. Our mission is simple:
Strive for success in dance and challenge it everyday with confidence, goals, and the passion in your heart.
Pointe of Excellence Dance School offers classes in ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop, lyrical, pointe, musical theater, and creative movement. The dance classes are designed to take little ones from their very 1st steps all the way to college through techniques of dance. Dance is a great way to gain the poise, confidence, discipline, and fundamental life skills inherent in the structured study of dance. We strive to have a safe and fun environment for everyone to learn in. Dance is a great way to learn how to set goals for life and confidence in other elements of life. Pointe of Excellence Dance School also has a competition team that can be joined after the 1st year at the studio is completed through auditions.
Pointe of Excellence Dance School has a recital every year. They are fun, exciting, and a great way for your dancer to show what they have been working toward all year. We have done themes such as "What's Your Favorite Color", "The Little Mermaid", and "The Wizard of Oz". While we strive to work towards excellent dance technique foundation, we also seek to foster the passion and excitment of dance. Classes are full of friendship, excitement, and success.

Studio Owner and Teacher
My name is Anna Miller and I have over 20 years of experience of dancing, teaching, and owning a dance studio. I am a Canyon, TX native where I graduated West Texas A&M University with a BFA in dance. My hope is that each dancer leaves my studio loving the art of dance and has gained confidence in themselves. I am married and have two daughters. I love coffee, and spending time with my family.
